What’s it going to look like?
We’re currently working on the design details, but the vision is this:

The garden will have a number of individual plots, as well as plenty of communal areas, including a sensory garden, espaliered fruit tress, communal composting, a meeting space and shelter. It is being designed in line with permaculture principles and will have a 45000L water tank -we’re also looking for a way to harvest rainwater from local buildings.
We hope to have workshops run by locals for locals about how to grow fruit and vegies at home, permaculture and anything else that is inspired by the community garden environment!
